Dwarf

Physical Appearance:

Dwarves are stout, standing between 4 to 5 feet tall, with an average weight nearing 200 pounds. Female dwarves are usually an inch or two taller than males, though they tend to be less broad. Male dwarves begin growing beards upon reaching adulthood at around forty years old. These beards are often adorned with braids, beads, and rings. While female dwarves do not grow beards, they style their hair similarly, using the same decorations as the men.

Traits:

Improved Dark Vision: Dwarves were originally raised underground. They have Dark Vision that allows them to see up to 60 ft in the dark.

Tunnel Sense: Dwarves have a keen sense of the underground. They gain a +2 to Survival checks when underground. In addition, Dwarves always know what direction north is while underground.

Rubble Step: Dwarves do not take a penalty for moving through rocky Difficult Terrain.

Sturdy: Once per day, the Dwarf can reduce incoming damage by half, rounded down.
